Job Description

Unidec is currently seeking Process Control Engineering Technologists to troubleshoot electronic controls, computer controls and PLC based automated systems on pharmaceutical process equipment including washers, sterilizers, sterile fill, AOI inspection and other production equipment typically found in pharmaceutical commercial and pilot production.

Education Requirements

You must have a minimum 2-year degree or equivalent in electronics engineering technology. A Bachelors in an Applied Engineering Technology (AET) degree is a big plus.

To qualify, you must:

Troubleshoot, repair, program and install industrial controls. Proficient in reading electrical drawings, schematics, and flowcharts. Troubleshoot, program, maintain PLC, SCADA control systems. Layout, assemble and wire control systems from electrical schematic packages. Understand single and three phase power apparatus. Job Requirements: Installation of process controls and electrical components and wiring. Perform basic mechanical adjustments. Provide accurate written and verbal reporting of all work performed when required. Follow written or verbal instruction. Understand and perform preventative maintenance procedures. Understand and adhere to quality requirements. Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures Understand client structures and policies and interface with clients professionally. Work safely and follow client rules, OSHA, GAMP and cGMP's requirements.

Physical Requirements

Be able to use hand tools like screwdrivers, wire cutters, strippers and crimpers. Able to hear audible cues and indicators from equipment. Have good near and far vision (with or without correction) Applying force, carrying, climbing, grabbing, lifting, pulling, pushing, and reaching. Due to the industrial work environment, good vision and good hearing are required to safely work due to audible and visual cues as they relate to audible alarms; visual indicators; reading diagrams, schematics, and seeing displays.
